Rein in auto drivers

I want the new government to rein in auto-rickshaw drivers in Hyderabad city. The auto meters should be recalibrated to record the current minimum fare of Rs.20. The tendency of auto drivers to fleece commuters by their refusal to ply as per the metre and short distances should be checked.

Quality health care Providing quality education and medical facilities is the need of the hour. The new government must establish government hospitals to provide quality medical care.

Stick to basics Providing basic amenities like drinking water, good education, effective health care, sound law and order and a human touch in all areas of governance is the basic minimum that every ‘Telanganite’ would expect from the KCR-led government. There should not be any agitations, bandhs now.

Raise retirement age The government must reward Telangana State government employees by enhancing the retirement age to 60 years.

Shoddy officialdom The CM must have a look at the disgusting manner in which staff at the Pension Department deal with retired persons. Pensioners are treated as pests and alms-seekers – as though the pension amount is being doled out from their personal pockets. I request the new CM to credit our pensions correctly and on time without any mistakes.

Pollution-free city I want the CM to make Hyderabad very green and pollution free. Also, it would be nice if the roads are widened and potholes taken care of.
