I want the new government to rein in auto-rickshaw drivers in Hyderabad city. The auto meters should be recalibrated to record the current minimum fare of Rs.20. The tendency of auto drivers to fleece commuters by their refusal to ply as per the metre and short distances should be checked.

Pensioners are treated as pests and alms-seekers – as though the pension amount is being doled out from their personal pockets.
