Reimbursement scheme extended

The Telangana State government has decided to extend the existing employee health insurance reimbursement scheme, which was supposed to make way for cashless health cards by November-end, till March 31, 2015.

With issue of rates for medical services under the new insurance scheme yet to be resolved between the government and super-speciality hospitals, several employee unions had urged the government to extend the reimbursement scheme. A Government Order (G.O. MS no-40) extending the date was also released.
