Registered parcel goes missing

October 18, 2014 12:35 am | Updated May 26, 2016 05:58 am IST - HYDERABAD:

On May 28, I had despatched by registered parcel/post some books from J.J.Nagar post office, Secunderabad. It has been months since it was sent but till date it has neither reached the addressee in Bangalore nor has been it returned to me. We tried to track it through ‘www.indiapost.gov.in’, where it initially showed as having been despatched to Bangalore city and later as returned to GPO Hyderabad.

I wrote a letter to the PMG Hyderabad but nothing has happened so far. I hope the Department of Posts which is celebrating ‘Postal Week’ will solve the mystery and find my missing parcel.

Re-carpet the road

Driving from Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS (Air Force Station) entrance to New Bowenpally Circle has become a challenging task for commuters these days. At few areas on this NH-7 main road, tar has been washed away completely. The ditches are very deep and sharp on this road. Due to this, traffic jams have become a daily routine. Hence, I request the authorities concerned to re-carpet the same at the earliest.
