Realtor murdered at Langerhouz

A real estate businessman, who was at loggerheads with a history-sheeter over some land transactions, was allegedly murdered by the latter at Langerhouz after Monday midnight.

The victim Mohd. Awais (26) from Mallepally was lured by the accused Mohd. Firdous to Nanalnagar in Langerhouz “on the pretext of sorting out differences”, Asifnagar ACP G.P. Vinod Kumar said.

Accompanied by his brothers and friends, Awais went to Imperial Motors area while Firdous turned up with his associates. Police said both got into an argument and in the melee the businessman was stabbed to death. Police detained Farra, one of the accomplices of the prime accused, who was present at the time of the murder.
