The horticultural department of the Rashtrapati Nilayam in Secunderabad has bagged the first prize during the Garden Festival 2010.
The ‘Pushpavatika Trophy’ was won by the department of the ‘Nilayam’, which is the Presidential Retreat during the festival organised by the Horticulture Department of Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad recently.
Incidentally, this is the second consecutive year in which this award has been won by Rashtrapati Nilayam, a Rashtrapati Bhavan statement said.
