Former Satyam Computers chairman B. Ramalinga Raju has expressed his willingness to be examined through a questionnaire, clearing the way for the court to frame charges against Satyam scam accused.
The counsel for Mr. Raju on Monday filed in the special court for Satyam Computers fraud an affidavit confirming his willingness to answer a questionnaire that will be served on him at the NIMS where he is undergoing treatment.
After the affidavit was filed, the magistrate B.V.L.N. Chakravarthy adjourned the case to June 19 when the charges against the accused would be pronounced. Except Mr. Raju, the charges for the remaining accused would be made known in the court hall itself. The decision of the court to examine Mr. Raju through a questionnaire put at rest the proposal by Central Bureau of Investigation to video link the court hall with NIMS.
