Rajendra Prasad meets KCR

The newly-elected president of Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) G. Rajendra Prasad on Monday called on Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at the latter’s residence here. He was accompanied by Minister for Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav.

Mr. Rajendra Prasad was complimented by the Chief Minister on his election to MAA and presented with a ‘shawl’. On the MAA president’s request for the government’s cooperation for the development of the film industry in Hyderabad and welfare of cine artistes, the Chief Minister promised to extend all possible help. The Chief Minister stated that a meeting would be held with the bigwigs of the film industry. Mr. Rajendra Prasad said he was confident that the cinema industry would flourish with the interest being evinced by the Chief Minister.
