AICC president briefed on court verdict on MLAs’ suspension

All-India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi will participate in the next phase of Praja Chaitanya Bus Yatra of the party in Telangana and the schedule would be finalised in a couple of days.

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, who met Mr. Gandhi in New Delhi along with MLAs Sampath Kumar and Komatireddy Venkata Reddy and others, briefed him on the court verdict on the suspended MLAs and the political ramifications of it. Apparently, Mr. Gandhi congratulated the two Congress MLAs, whose expulsion from the Assembly was reversed by the High Court.

Advocate Jandhyala Ravi Shankar who argued the case also explained to Mr. Gandhi the arguments..
