Pulse polio drive gets underway

The pulse polio drive held on Sunday by district health authorities covered 5,50,016 children below the age of five years in Hyderabad and 6,70,261 children in the Ranga Reddy district.

The district health officials will launch a three-day house to house mop-up exercise from Monday, January 21 to cover those children who missed-out on pulse polio drive on Sunday. The authorities have requested families of those children who have missed out to cooperate and avail the pulse polio facility in the mop-up exercise in the next three days.
