Principal held on charge of sexual harassment

The principal of a corporate college was arrested by the Madhapur police on Wednesday on the charge of sexually harassing a woman receptionist working in his college.

The victim complained that the principal, M. Prabhu Srinivas, was sexually harassing her for the last ten days on the college premises, Madhapur Inspector K. Narsimulu said.

The police invoked Section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code against him.
