PRC: JAC sets deadline

March 31, 2010 11:00 am | Updated November 18, 2016 11:00 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

The Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers and Workers has expressed concern over the government's tardy attitude in implementation of the Pay Revision Commission's recommendations and has set April 10 as the deadline for doing so.

The JAC resolved to stage lunch-hour demonstrations on April 13 if their demands were not met before the deadline. The State executive would review the situation on April 17 and chalk out their future plan, said JAC chairman V. Gopal Reddy. At a press conference, Mr. Reddy regretted that even the two demands which were agreed upon on January 27 this year were yet to be implemented.
