A state-of-the art power generation plant which uses garbage is to be built by Ramky at an estimated cost of Rs 642 crore in Jawaharnagar. The power plant will be built with technolgical support from China, United States and Germany, in two years. The unit is being set up as part of the intergrated Solid Waste Management Project. It would generate 48 MW of power and consume about 3600 metric tonnes of garbage everyday, GHMC commissioner M.T. Krishna Babu said here on Monday.
