The Cyberabad Traffic Additional DCP Pullender Reddy has condemned reports of his meeting with former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy inside the Chanchalguda Central Prison on Thursday.

According to sources, the police officer in plain clothes went inside the prison and met Mr. Reddy. However, Pullender Reddy clarified that he had only met jailor Ashok Reddy for a few minutes. “I knew Ashok Reddy for long. Since I was passing by the route, I wanted to say hello to him and walked inside,” Mr. Pullender Reddy told The Hindu . He claimed that he had started late for office on Thursday having worked as the supervisory officer the previous night. En route, he stopped by the prison and met Ashok Reddy. Meanwhile, Chanchalguda prison superintendent B. Saidaih said Pullender Reddy had met him stating that he wanted to meet a person called Ayaz Khan of Bidar who wanted to meet Gali Janardhan Reddy during Mulakhat. “I told him that Ayaz Khan didn’t arrive by then. So he waited outside and must have met Ayaz Khan there itself,” the superintendent said.
