In a move to arrest the delay in supply of mid-day meal for schools, the district police authorities have issued stickers that can be exhibited on the outer side of the vehicle. The monogram ‘District Police Sangareddy’ was released by the Superintendent of Police K. Chadrasekhar Reddy here on Saturday. While checking the vehicles the police need not look for other documents as they were already checked and monogram issued.

“This was taken up to address the delay in supply of mid-day meals for schools. This does not mean they have a free movement and police have every right to check the vehicles,” said Mr. Chandrasekhar Reddy.

He said that similar stickers will be issued for employees working with organisations like ODF.

DSP Tirupatanna, AR RI Hari Lal and others were present.
