Plea to exclude FSA for 2010 first quarter

December 11, 2012 10:00 am | Updated 10:00 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Company Limited (APCPDCL) has, through a press release on Monday, requested the electricity consumers to pay their power bills for the month of December, after deducting the Fuel Surcharge Adjustment (FSA) amount for the first quarter of the 2010. It is in line with the recent High Court stay order, the company informed.

The FSA amount could not be deleted from the bills, as the data was uploaded prior to the order, it said. Even if the consumers have paid the Fuel Surcharge Adjustment, it would be adjusted in the subsequent electricity bills, the company assured.
