Plea for more facilities at Lingampally station

MMTS till Ramachandrapuram sought

Members of the Forum to Improve Lingampally Station met General Manager of the South Central Railway (SCR) V.K. Yadav and Secunderabad Divisional Railway Manager Amit Varadan on Friday and requested them to improve the passenger amenities at the station.

Srinivas Velgage of the forum stated that the railway officials have agreed to set up escalators for platforms 1 and 6.

Further, the officials have agreed to consider MMTS extension to Ramachandrapuram and to take the request for halt for Rajkot-SC, SC-TPTY Padmavathi Express, YPR-GKP (15015/16) express trains to the notice of the Railway Board.

Further, the officials told the forum members that the work on allowing the boarding of Gautami Express at Lingampally was in an advanced stage of consideration.
