Plea for government pay scales

The A.P. Affiliated Private Engineering Colleges Non-Teaching Staff Federation here has appealed to the Deputy Chief Minister and Higher Education Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha for measures to improve service conditions of non-teaching staff.

The Federation Secretary General C. Bhagat Simha urged the Minister to instruct the bodies like affiliating university, State Council for Higher Education, Directorate of Technical Education to pay salaries and other emoluments on a par with the State government and university employees as per the rules in force.

He also requested to include one representative from the State level non-teaching staff federation into AFRC, said a press release.
