The city police on Monday caught a pizza delivery boy for allegedly harassing girls by calling them regularly and sending lewd SMSes to them.
The accused, Laxman (26) of Malkajgiri, is pursuing MBA course in Kacheguda, said OU Inspector P. Ashok. Eleven SIM cards were recovered from him .
He attends college during daytime and works as a delivery boy in the evening to meet his expenses. His modus operandi is: collecting phone numbers and addresses of customers soon after getting the orders. “If he finds a girl as a customer, then he would start calling her regularly,” Mr. Ashok explained. Based a complaint lodged by a girl, the police caught him.
Raid on spasIn another case, police raided two salon-cum-spa centres in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills for conducting their business in an indecent manner.
