Piaggio Vehicles on Tuesday unveiled it’s ‘all new’ apé City Compact Diesel, a three-wheeled passenger vehicle here in the city. Fitted with 395 cc diesel engine, the new vehicle has been presented as one with international style technology developed, based on customer feedback.

Speaking at the launch, the company officials said the new three-wheeler offers the best mileage in its class and comes with superior pick up and acceleration to deliver enhanced performance. It has a compact design that makes it ideal for city traffic, they said. Hardip Goindi, Executive Vice President of Piaggio India, said the new vehicle was conceived anticipating customers’ needs for a small fuel efficient and comfortable three-wheeler. “It should emerge as a preferred option over competition in this segment on the strength of its low maintenance cost, superior earnability, easy availability of spare parts and serviceability,” he added.
