Popular film actor and Jana Sena leader, Pawan Kalyan met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and had a meeting with him for more than one-and-half hours at his residence in the Jubilee Hills area on Sunday.

They reportedly discussed the raw deal meted out to Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget and the need to exert pressure on the Centre to honour its promises in implementing various provisions relating to AP Reorganisation Act.

Mr. Naidu had on Saturday expressed his disappointment over the Union Budget and reminded the BJP-led NDA government that it had equal responsibility in doing justice to the people of the State who were facing hardship post-bifurcation.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan too recently tweeted:

The film actor had campaigned for TDP-BJP alliance during the elections in 2014.
