Passenger Reservation System to be shut down

December 26, 2009 05:33 pm | Updated 05:33 pm IST - HYDERABAD

The Passenger Reservation System (PRS) on South Central Railway will be shutdown from 10 p.m. on Sunday to 3.30 a.m. on Monday for taking up maintenance works.

Consequently, the current day booking, internet booking, enquiry through Passenger Operated Enquiry Terminals (POET) and Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) will not function on South Central Railway during the maintenance period.

However, reservations across the counters will be available during the normal counter working hours on Sunday and Monday, an SCR press release said on Saturday.
