Parkwood School director granted bail

Justice Raja Elango of the High Court on Thursday granted conditional bail to Mohammed Salahuddin Ayub, former director of Parkwood International School. The judge granted this bail while admitting the appeal filed by Ayub.

He was charged with raping a girl student of the school and V Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge of Nampally court convicted him and imposed 10 years of rigorous imprisonment on October 11. The convicted director filed the present appeal and the statutory appeal was admitted by the judge.

The judge directed the petitioner to furnish two sureties for Rs. 1 lakh and surrender his passport. The judge also directed the petitioner to appear before the trial court on first Monday of every month till the completion of hearing in his appeal in the HC.
