The Masaipet train accident on Thursday left permanent scars on three families as each of them lost two children.

Kistapur resident Valiuddin’s children – Ghousia, a four-year-old girl and her brother Abdul Rasheed, died in the accident. They had boarded the bus like they did every day and little did their family members know that it would be their last journey. Ramulu of Gundredpally is yet to come to terms with the tragedy as his two children– 12-year-old Suman and seven-year-old Srividya were among the 14 students who met a gory death. In less than 30 minutes after the bus left the village, the family was shell-shocked when someone made a call to Ramulu that a bus belonging to Kakatiya Techno School had met with an accident. He rushed to the spot only to find both his children dead.

Yadagiri’s children, Divya and Charan, also met the same fate.
