The special task force headed by Chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi to monitor the metro rail works has formed a fast track approval committee consisting of Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, Addl. Commissioner (Traffic) C.V. Anand and HMR MD N.V.S. Reddy to accord stretch-wise permissions for the project and for coordinated traffic management.

A sub-committee consisting of Principal Secretary, R&B S.P.Singh, Principal Secretary, MA&UD Sam Bob, GHMC Commissioner M.T. Krishna Babu, Mr. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, Mr. C.V.Anand and Mr. N.V.S.Reddy was also formed to identify and coordinate removal of bottlenecks through joint inspections of critical road stretches. Mr. Dwivedi wanted GHMC to expedite acquisition of 570 properties and prepare alternate roads in the next four months to provide a minimum 18 mtrs (60 feet) right of way in all the three metro rail corridors. The water board was asked to shift lines utilising the metro rail funds. L&TMRHL was directed to deploy more number traffic marshals.
