Painter murdered in Hyderabad

A painter was found murdered in the open yard of a weekly market at YSR Nagar of Gabbilalpet in Jawaharnagar police station area on Thursday. Forty-five-year-old Ramchander bore bleeding wounds on his head.

The killers hit him with boulders apparently after a drunken brawl last night, the Jawaharnagar Inspector P. Venkatagiri said. The victim was a drunkard, residents of the area told the police. Persons and motives behind the murder were not yet known.
