Paigah family seeks CBI probe in land dealings

Members of Paigah family on Friday requested the government to order a CBI inquiry into the irregularities allegedly committed by a couple of influential persons while taking over their lands in collusion with politicians, police and revenue officials.

Hameedunnisa Begum told reporters here that the family has lodged several complaints against these influential persons, but action was not taken till now. The family has been fighting the case for the past 40 years, she claimed.
