Three accused in the case of murder attempt on MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi surrendered before the trial court at the Nampally Criminal Court Complex on Tuesday following cancellation of their bails by the High Court two days ago.

Mohammed Omar Bin Yafai alias Mohammed Pahelwan, Younus Bin Omar Yafai and Bahadur Ali Khan were shifted to the Charlapally prison. Out of the 14 persons arrested in the case of attack on Mr. Owaisi, nine had obtained bail from the High Court in September, 2011.

The government went for an appeal against the bail order in the Supreme Court which set aside the bail orders of the three accused. The Supreme Court also ruled that the murder case registered against MIM Malakpet MLA Balala's gunman Johny Miya following the High Court order was inconsequential.

On the day of attack on Mr. Owaisi, the gunman opened fire killing one of the attackers. One of the accused in the case moved the High Court seeking registration of murder case against the gunman. The police had registered murder case following the High Court order.
