A 45-year-old daily wage-earner, who was watering plants on the median of the Outer Ring Road near Adibhatla, died after a car hit him. The victim was identified as Shankariah, a resident of Mangalguda under Adibatla police limits.
According to the police, the incident took place around noon on Friday, when an SUV, which was heading towards Bonugulu, hit Shankariah. He died on the spot.
“Some persons who were travelling in the vehicle, which hit Shankariah, were injured and shifted to a private hospital in LB Nagar,” police said.
