Launching its Gowardhan brand fresh milk in Hyderabad on Tuesday, private dairy Parag Milk Foods announced that it will foray into Warangal, Nizamabad and Karimnagar markets by December.

Telangana is a key market that the company will cater from its 8 lakh litres per day dairy plant in Palamner, Andhra Pradesh, said chairman Devendra Shah.

Apart from fresh milk, curd, buttermilk, flavoured milk, butter, ghee and value-added milk powders are among the products made at the plant.

Parag Milk Foods is looking to invest around Rs.400 crore over the next four years on expansion plans, which includes doubling the capacity of the plant and foraying into eastern and north eastern regions.
