September 21, 2012 09:37 am | Updated November 16, 2021 09:43 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

Installation of traffic signal posts at Kavuri Hills junction and road widening from this spot till the Ayyappa Society roads are to be taken up on priority in the next few days by GHMC following an inspection by the Commissioner M.T. Krishna Babu and Additional Commissioner (Traffic) C.V. Anand on Wednesday evening.

The officials went around the roads to be used for the forthcoming bio-diversity conference like Road No.36, Jubilee Hills to NAC.

While the above mentioned works are to be completed before the session’s start, the electrical wing was asked to coordinate with the APCPDCL to see that there was a shift in transformer and electric poles coming in the way of the thoroughfares.

A special drive will also be taken up to remove encroachments too on either side of the road.

The central median beneath the Hi-Tec City too will be given a new look as was being done to many other flyovers in the capital.

New energy-efficient 120 watts streetlights were installed on the Hitex road and the same lights will be put up throughout the city soon, he added in a press release.
