Octogenarian doctor found murdered in Hyderabad

An octogenarian doctor was found murdered in his house at Sharadanagar colony in Tappachabutra, Hyderabad on Friday morning.

The body of NS Mukhedkar was lying in naked condition with a bed linen over it on the cot. The killers have smothered him to death, the Tappachabuthra police Inspector Trimurthulu told reporters.

The maid grew suspicious on finding the rear door ajar when she went to clean the house in the morning.

The doctor lives alone on the ground floor portion while the first floor and pent house were rented out.

Police Inspector Trimurthulu said that further investigation is on.
