The Nandamuri clan saw the entry of its latest star in the family on Tuesday, in the form of a baby born to Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (Junior NTR) and his wife Lakshmi Pranathi.
The mother developed pains early in the morning and she was rushed to the hospital. Once doctors decided that it would not be a normal delivery, the decision was taken to perform a Caesarian procedure, family sources said.
The procedure was handled by Dr. Praneetha Reddy, a gynaecologist at Rainbow Hospitals here and the little one entered the world at 10.58 a.m.
Members of the Nandamuri and Narne family who were present at the hospital include the star’s mother Shalini and father Harikrishna and his wife’s parents Mallika and Narne Srinivasa Rao. Once the child was born, there was a steady stream of relatives and friends visiting the hospital.
The electronic media was present and when a reporter asked Tarak if he believed that his grandfather, the legendary N.T. Rama Rao was born as his son, pat came the answer that people like NTR were only born once and not again and again.
