NITHM meet on management education

A stakeholder’s meet on management education for deans and directors of business schools was organised at Dr. Y.S.R National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management (NITHM) on Monday.

AP State Council of Higher Education Chairman L. Venugopal Reddy, who was the chief guest, spoke about the present condition of management education in India. AICTE Regional Director S.K. Jena addressed the gathering on the role of regulatory bodies in management education. NITHM chairperson Chandana Khan talked about challenges in finding the ideal people for jobs.

NITHM also conducted a faculty development programme on effective teaching methodology in higher education.
