Neurosurgery meet begins tomorrow in Hyderabad

The 21st Annual Conference of Indian Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery will be held here at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) from tomorrow.

The objective of the conference is to advance paediatric neurosurgical knowledge.

Giving details about the conference, Prof A K Purohit, Head of Department of Neurosurgery, NIMS and Organising Chairman of the Conference and Dr Suchanda Bhattacharjee, Organising Secretary said Paediatric neurosurgeons from abroad and India will share their valuable experience during the five-day annual conference.

Some of the international faculty who will participate and speak include Arnold Menezes (USA), James T Goodrich (USA), Dominic Thompson (England), Martina Messing Juenger (Germany), Graham Fieggen (South Africa), Kew Chang Wang (South Korea) and many others.

The Midas Rex Workshop and Nurses Programme will be held tomorrow while International CME (Continuous Medical Education) will be held on Thursday and Friday.

About 200 Paediatric Neurosurgeons are expected to participate and deliberate in the conference, which will end on November 21.
