Netizens share their grief on social media

The death of Uday Kiran triggered an avalanche of reactions from netizens that ranged from the expression of shock to trading of conspiracy charges on the various social media platforms. .

While many shared Uday Kiran’s hit songs to condole the loss, some expressed their doubts about motives behind the suicide.

“I don’t think Tollywood actor Uday Kiran has committed suicide. According to me it’s a murder. How come the post-mortem reports [are] not out yet?” a Twitter user þ@verified_biebs commented.

Another Twitter user Mohammad Abdul Nahid wrote “Complaint to HRC regarding Uday Kiran’s death… They say our industry is under the grip of four big names…” However, some point out to the personal factors. “…Family, Marital & Finance issues were the main reasons behind #UdayKiran’s death and not the alleged FOUR families,” Srikanth Yalavarthi twitted.

Uday Kiran’s fans also expressed their anguish. “[Second] youngest actor after Kamal Hassan to receive Filmfare award —UDAYKIRAN... RIP…” a Twitter user Roshan wrote.

The sentiment was shared by celebrities. Telugu actor Prabhas (þ@prabhasbahubali) wrote “Sudden shock to Tollywood is Uday Kiran’s death... we lost one of the pearls…”

Netizens praised the actor’s decision to donate his eyes. “Hatssofff!!! Uday Kiran donated his eyes…,” Soumya þ(@SaniaSoumya) wrote. But TV channels faced flak for their coverage of the incident. “…Dead Body Visuals @ Apollo Hospital… Very shocking. Couldn’t believe it,” another Twitter user Mary Putla wrote.
