NCC camp to conclude today

A National Integration Camp (NIC) is being conducted by NCC Group, Secunderabad under the aegis of NCC Directorate (Andhra Pradesh & Telangana) at Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College, Ghatkesar in Hyderabad from 1 to 12 August.

The camp was aimed at fostering spirit of national integration and solidarity amongst the cadets of NCC cutting across cultural, religious, geographical, environmental and linguistic challenges and has drawn a total of 650 cadets from all 17 Directorates of NCC across the country.

Cadets were witness to a series of demonstrations by Rapid Action Force, local Fire Brigade, Snake Show, Magic Show, Military Band display, Weapon and Equipment display organised by Army. A number of competitions to include NIAP, Cultural, Debating and Quiz were conducted at to imbibing competitive spirit among the participating cadets.

Deputy Director General (AP&T) Air Commodore P Maheshwar addressed the cadets during the NIC camp and called upon each cadet to develop qualities of leadership, co-operation, camaraderie and team spirit with missionary zeal, a press release said.
