An inter-state drug peddler was apprehended by the Malkajgiri Zone SOT for selling narcotics such as LDS blots and amphetamine tablets to users in Bengaluru and Delhi.

The accused, K Ganesh Kumar (27), is a resident of Kondapur here. Police said he is a contractual employee at an IT firm in Hitec City.

Kumar used to frequent Goa and it was during one of his trips there that he and his associates Shaik Ahmed, Shaik Rasheed and Aravind Reddy allegedly met an inter-State narcotics peddler, Abid Mir alias Tiger, said police.

Kumar became friends with Mir, who asked them to supply marijuana at ₹15,000 per kilo and in return, he would also supply them narcotics, a cop said, adding that Reddy and Kumar developed contacts and started supplying the contraband.

Based on a tip-off, Kumar, Ahmed and Rasheed were apprehended on March 15. On Tuesday, cops recovered 15 LSD blots, 10 amphetamine tablets, marijuana packets of one kg each, a motorcycle and a mobile phone from them.
