Music and dance fest at Chowmahalla from April 12

Art and music lovers can expect a three-day cultural treat at the Chowmahalla Music and Dance Festival, being organised from April 12 to 14.

Chowmahalla Director G. Kishan Rao said popular artistes from the country and the State will be in attendance at the festival.

Prominent faces

Some prominent names performing at the festival include ghazal singers Ahmed and Mohammed Hussain from Jaipur, Abhaas and Shreyas Joshi of Indie Routes Sufi Band, Qawwal Munnawar Masoom, Kuchipudi dancer Deepika Reddy, Bharatanatyam dancer Ananda Shankar Jayant and Kathak dancer Mangala Bhatt.

Entry by invitation

Entry is free, but by invitation.

Invitations are available at the Paryatak Bhavan in Begumpet; Cisne office opposite Care Hospitals in Banjara Hills and at Chowmahalla Palace.
