Saifabad Police on Tuesday arrested five persons in connection with the murder of a 33-year-old auto driver which took place last week.
The deceased, G. Shiva Kiran, was allegedly killed on May 19 after he had an altercation with Mohammed Abdul Rehman, R. Bharath, Mohammed Azharuddin, Mohammed Moinuddin and Shaik Javed. The accused conspired to kill Kiran and had him come over to Mahabharata Nagar in Khairatabad, the police said. They then stabbed him to death, before fleeing from the spot.
