Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao advised officials concerned on Monday to explore the best possible approach road to the proposed pharma city in Mucherla without disturbing the habitations. The approach road should be at least 100-foot wide, he told them on a visit to a few industrial sites coming under the Shamshabad zone of Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) Ltd. The pharma city falls under three mandals – Kandukuru and Yacharam in Ranga Reddy district besides Amangal of Mahabubnagar district. Together, about 11,000 acres are involved. Stating that the minister instructed the officials to expedite the work, an official release on the visit said Mr. Rao visited the hardware park phase-I and electronic city (erstwhile fabcity) too. At the electronic city, spread over 1,250 acres, he enquired about the status of court cases.
