Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Wednesday arrested Mandal Parishad Development Officer of Narva in Mahbubnagar district, P. Raghava, after he allegedly received ₹10,000 bribe from a person, to do an official favour.

The tainted sum was recovered from the MPDO. The officer was accused of demanding bribe from G. Bal Reddy, field assistant of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) when the latter approached him to process the file relating to his salary arrears. He would be presented before a special court in Hyderabad.
