More rain forecast in Telangana

Thunderstorm associated with heavy rain and gusty winds is very likely to occur at isolated places in all the districts of Telangana due to a cyclonic circulation lying over the State and neighbourhood extending up to 1.5 km above mean sea level for next couple of days, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its daily weather report.

Isolated rainfall had occurred in different places like Jadcherla (Mahabubnagar) 7 cm, Medchal (Rangareddy) 5 cm, Yacharam (Rangareddy) 5 cm, Palawancha (Khammam) 5 cm, Doma (Rangareddy) 3 cm, Wanaparthy (Mahabubnagar) 3 cm, Venkatapuram (Khammam) 3 cm and Saroornagar (Rangareddy) 2 cm. While, Chinna Chinta Kunta (Mahabubnagar), Kammar Palle (Nizamabad) and Mortad (Nizamabad) received 1 cm rainfall.
