13 modern DPO buildings planned at a cost of ₹ 25 crore each

The State government has decided to construct 13 modern district police office (DPO) buildings and two Commissionerate of Police office buildings at a cost of ₹ 25 crore each, in all the newly formed districts in the State.

Telangana State Police Housing Corporation chairman Koleti Damodar said that the government had decided to construct modern police commissionerate in Warangal town at a cost of ₹ 50 crore and in Karimnagar at a cost of ₹ 75 crore.

He said that the government had decided to construct all the DPOs, commisisonerate offices, battalions, police quarters, police stations, renovation of police stations, excise stations and forest academy at Mulugu near Shamirpet at a cost of ₹ 1002.76 crore.

He said the government had decided to redesign and construct the Godavarikhani One Town police station as the model police station of the country at a cost of ₹ 4.5 crore with the contribution of ₹ 3 crore by the management of Singareni Collieries Company Limited.

The model police station with three storied building would have a reception hall to accommodate more than 100 persons, conference hall, guest house, CCTV command control room, gym and meditation hall for the police personnel and the visitors.
