MMTS back on tracks from today

All the MMTS trains that were cancelled in the city on Monday will resume operations on Tuesday, according to the South Central Railway (SCR) authorities. In view of the damage to signalling equipment at Hussainsagar Junction Cabin, the SCR had cancelled all MMTS trains.

However, a few express trains, particularly those arriving into the city on Tuesday, remain cancelled.

Cancelled trains

The trains cancelled include Chennai Central-Hyderabad Express scheduled to depart Chennai Central at 4. 45 p.m., train no.17031 CST Mumbai-Hyderabad Express scheduled to depart CST Mumbai at 12.45 p.m., train no.17013 Pune-Hyderabad Express scheduled to depart Pune at 2.15 p.m., train no.17430 Tirupati-Hyderabad Rayalaseema Express scheduled to depart Tirupati at 4.25 p.m., train no.12727 Vishakapatnam-Hyderabad Godavari Express scheduled to depart Vishakapatnam at 5.25 p.m., and train no.17255 Narsapur-Hyderabad Express scheduled to depart Narsapur at 6.55 p.m. Train No 17004 CSMT (Kolhapur)-Hyderabad scheduled to depart CSTM Kolhapur at 7.30 a.m. on Tuesday also remains cancelled, a press note said.
