Authorities are making arrangements for the smooth conduct of Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) beginning February 28 in the district. A total of 39,011 students belonging to both junior and senior Intermediate education will appear for the exams, said D. Vaddenna, Regional Intermediate Officer.
Forty-three centres would be set up for the exams, which would be held from 9 a.m. till noon. Students would not be allowed inside the centres if they are late by even a minute, he said.
Collector M. Ram Mohan Rao inspected the exam centres on Wednesday, and gave instructions to officials to ensure provision of drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, toilet facilities, etc. He also checked the valuation and paper distribution rooms.
Seeing the dumping yard near the Government Junior College for Boys, he asked the municipal commissioner to make arrangements to shift the yard.
