Intermittent showers brought down the city’s temperatures on Sunday, with the maximum temperature climbing down to 21.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum slipping to 18.8 degree Celsius.

Rainfall recorded was 13.8 millimetres (mm), caused due to south-eastern winds blowing from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal towards Telangana, officials at the meteorological office here said. “The temperatures on Monday will be around the same as Sunday, and there will be light rain in the State,” an official said.

Other places in the State like Ramagundam and Nizamabad also witnessed a sharp dip of 10 degree Celsius in maximum temperatures. The mercury in those two places logged temperatures of 24.2 and 21.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
