December 20, 2013 01:04 am | Updated May 26, 2016 07:16 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The Cyberabad police on Thursday detained a medical representative on charges of outraging the modesty of a minor girl at his house in Sardar Patel Nagar under Malkajgiri police station limits. The girl is a nursery student.

The 35-year-old, Samuel, allegedly lured the 4-year-old to his house when she went to attend tuition at his cousin’s house. He promised to give her chocolates and reportedly committed the crime. The incident came to light when the girl complained of severe pain. The worried family enquired with her friends who informed that Samuel took the girl to his house.

“Based on the complaint, we booked a case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of IPC against Samuel and took him into custody,” said Malkajgiri Inspector L.C. Naik.
