MCEME convocation on December 15

The convocation of Degree of Engineering-98 and Technical Entry Scheme-28 will be held at Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) on December 15.

Indian School of Business Dean Rajendra K. Srivastava will be the chief guest and it would be attended by a host of senior civil and military dignitaries and gathering of more than 400 service personnel and their families.

MCEME Commandant Lieutenant General Paramjit Singh said: “It is a matter of great honour and privilege for MCEME that Mr. Srivastava has consented to deliver the convocation address.” Some 24 officers of Degree Engineering (DE-98) and 43 Officers of Technical Entry Scheme (TES-28) will be graduating as engineers.

They will be vying for a number of awards and trophies instituted in the name of General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Army Training Command, Director General of EME and other senior army officials. The innovative projects undertaken by student officers will also be displayed, according to Deputy Commandant & Chief Instructor Major General T. S. A. Narayanan, who supervised the entire training of the courses.

MCEME trains technical human capital for providing combat engineering support to the complete equipment of the Indian Army, a release said.
