An MBA student, Mahalaxmi (22), committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Saifabad on Saturday, the police said, adding that the reasons behind her suicide were being ascertained.
Tailor ends lifeIn another case a 35-year-old tailor, N. Mallesh, from Shivrampally hanged himself to death at his house on Saturday, the police said. Mallesh’s family members told the police that he was depressed over his failing health and might have ended his life over it.
Run over by trainA class VII student, K. Venkatesh (13), of Kukatpally died after being hit by a train while he was crossing the railway tracks between Hi-Tec City and Borabanda railway stations on Saturday.
In a road accident at Manchal in the neighbouring Ranga Reddy district, G. Muthaiya (56), a labourer was killed after being hit by a car the previous day. He was crossing the road when the accident occurred. He sustained severe injuries and was shifted to a private hospital for treatment, where he succumbed while undergoing treatment later in the night.
