Bolstered by bookings for ‘Vitara Brezza’ to the tune of 25,000 units in just two weeks of their opening, Maruti Suzuki India is confident of achieving its internal targets and pave the way for exports too, said its regional manager for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Muneesh Bali.

The Vitara Brezza is truly made in India and is in tune with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ vision, he said, at the unveiling function of the automotive maker’s SUV at Varun Motors here on Friday, graced by Mayor Bonthu Rammohan.

Speaking on the sidelines of the function, Mr. Bali explained that of the 25,000 bookings in two weeks, 1,500 were from AP and Telangana. Pointing out that Maruti Suzuki India had added 20 showrooms/outlets in the two States during the current fiscal, he said the number now stood at a total of 110 across the two States, including 37 large, hi-design showrooms.

The Mayor gave the lot of 10 vehicles to customers in Hyderabad and Telangana, offering his best wishes and expressing his belief that after the success of Maruti’s Baleno hatchback, the Brezza too would not be far behind.

General manager of Varun Motors G. Neeraj said that they were now present in Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
